KRISTA FOWLER ACUÑA is a Partner in the Miami office of The Chartwell Law Offices, LLP.   Ms. Fowler Acuña represents domestic and London market clients in liability and coverage matters.  In additional to general liability matters (such as premises and vehicular claims), Ms. Fowler Acuña has particular acumen and experience in counseling and representing technical industries and markets including maritime and admiralty, products liability (consumer, industrial, and marine products), construction (defect, contractor liability, and commercial), and transportation (such as waste management and commercial vehicle).  In addition to litigation matters, she counsels her marine and manufacturing clients on contract, warranty, and advertising review and drafting for compliance with state and federal warranty law.

Ms. Fowler Acuña has been featured as a speaker, and published in professional magazines, in these areas of litigation.  She is also an active member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), where she earned the CLMP designation, and the Defense Research Institute.  Ms. Fowler Acuña has become heavily involved in the development of litigation management best practices via CLM.

Ms. Acuña has received the awards of Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) ™ and the Litigation Management Institute Certificate™.
