AMANDA MITTEER BARTLEY is a partner in the Fort Myers regional office of The Chartwell Law Offices, LLP focusing her practice on civil litigation, primarily Workers’ Compensation litigation defense on behalf of insurance companies and employers.
Amanda received a B.S. in English Education with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont in 1996.  While in college, she interned for United States Senator James M. Jeffords. She was in the elite National Honor Society Kappa Delta Pi and was a biological researcher for the Smithsonian Institute.
While at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, Amanda interned for the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, as well as the Judicial Arbitration Mediation Services [JAMS] in Boston.  She also served as a New Hampshire Merrimack County Courthouse Mediator.  She graduated in 2000.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda headed the Workers’ Compensation Department for a southwest Florida law firm.  While there, her defense efforts on one case led to the arrest of a PTD Claimant for workers’ compensation fraud and perjury.  An avid philanthropist, Amanda helped raise over $250,000,000 for medical research while working with the Trump Organization/Miss Universe Organization.  She is extremely active within her legal community and volunteers for several associations.
