ALLEN CALLISON focuses his practice on liability defense, workers’ compensation defense, insurance coverage, employment defense and subrogation. Mr. Callison, a partner in Chartwell’s Nashville office, represents insurers and self-insured entities in retail and trucking industries.  He prides himself on his ability to offer cost-effective legal services, so clients are made aware of litigation costs and exposure and so that claims can be resolved expeditiously and without unnecessary litigation costs or delay. In addition to defending claims and lawsuits, Mr. Callison also takes pride in proactively working with his clients to adopt safety policies and employment practices to reduce the frequency and severity of claims. 

Following law school, Mr. Callison began working in Atlanta for an insurance defense firm specializing in the defense of workers’ compensation.  After returning to Nashville, Mr. Callison became the senior attorney for the Nashville office of a regional defense firm before joining Chartwell.  

Allen is active in his church’s adult ministry program and teaches Sunday School. Allen and his wife are the parents of twin boys who occupy most of his spare time out of the office.
