Ashley N. Waring is an associate in Chartwell’s Philadelphia office. She specializes in defending self-insured employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in workers’ compensation litigation.

Ashley graduated from Rowan University in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science, a minor in Psychology and a concentration in International Studies.  She played on the women’s basketball team and was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha, Psi Chi, and Phi Beta Delta honor societies.

Ashley then graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2015 with her J.D.  She was involved in the Appellate Advocacy Clinic, where she prepared briefs and presented an oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. See United States v. Newbold, 791 F.3d 455 (4th Cir. 2015). She also served as Articles Editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy, Chief Justice of the Wake Forest University Moot Court Program, and both President and Vice President of the Black Law Students Association. She participated in the London Study Abroad Program and the Cross Disciplinary Development Program in Nicaragua which is a program developed to assist small businesses with a variety of legal issues.

When not practicing law Ashley participates in community service, basketball, equestrian riding, and is an instrumentalist.
