Chartwell Law Attorney Moderates Capital Area Insurance Professionals Spring Seminar, "Opioid Crisis: A Scourge that Grips the Nation

Harrisburg, Pa., April 19, 2018 – Chartwell Law attorney Stephen J. Fireoved moderated, “Opioid Crisis: A Scourge that Grips the Nation,” at the Capital Area Insurance Professionals 2018 Spring Educational Seminar. The panel discussed the opioid crisis from a variety of perspectives, including medical, rehabilitation, insurance and criminal justice, with a focus on proposed solutions.

Fireoved focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, labor and employment law, and municipal and zoning law. He has extensive experience working with carriers and self-insured employers. Prior to joining the firm, Fireoved was a workers’ compensation and human resource manager for a Fortune 500 company, in addition to serving as director of the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He is very familiar with the regulatory side of the Commonwealth’s workers’ compensation structure and its WCAIS system.
