Mr. Strohmetz began his legal career as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Vincent Cirillo of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. In 1995 he became associated with the Philadelphia firm Harvey Pennington, Ltd., where he devoted his practice to handling workers’ compensation, general liability, and premises liability matters. Mr. Strohmetz continued his career at Weber, Gallagher, Simpson, Stapleton, Fires & Newby where he became a partner while focusing his practice on Pennsylvania workers’ compensation claims.  In 2002 Mr. Strohmetz founded Chartwell with three attorneys in one office in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.  Chartwell has since grown to over 100 attorneys in over a dozen offices in six states.

Mr. Strohmetz is committed to obtaining the best possible results for his clients, whether that means settling a minor claim early in litigation to save the client’s time and expense or whether it requires pursuing a matter to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.  Mr. Strohmetz has ensured the closure of over 800 claims for his clients just since Chartwell’s inception in 2002.  He has been successful in recovering millions for his clients in Supersedeas Fund Reimbursement since that time, and he has also saved his clients millions through creative and effective litigation practices.
