The firm’s roster of attorneys does not include a lawyer with the surname Chartwell. When the firm launched in 2002, we decided to forgo the traditional practice of identifying a law firm by the names of its founding partners in favor of a name that captures our attitude, values, and spirit.
History buff and founding partner Andrew Greenberg suggested Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill, to represent our commitment to provide our clients with sound advice, zealous representation and cheerful goodwill.
Chartwell, with its noble brick walls, busy work-study and vibrant grounds, embodies the magnificent public life of this extraordinary leader. In this way, the Chartwell name represents our law firm’s aspiration to serve our clients with integrity, vigor and determination, while still treating our adversaries with respect.
