Anelise Codrington is an experienced attorney handling matters in state, federal and appellate courts from pre-suit through case resolution. Her practice is focused on defending claims involving motor vehicle liability, trucking and transportation liability with a focus on rideshare/gig economy negligence, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, negligent security and premises liability. Anelise represents insurance companies and large self-insured businesses across multiple industries, including the retail and grocery, apartment, childcare/senior care, and transportation sectors.
Anelise is an active member of DRI: Lawyers Representing Business and has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star for Insurance Defense since 2021.
Born in the United Kingdom of Nigerian and Jamaican descent, Anelise brings a multi-cultural view to her practice and in building relationships with her clients. She is passionate about serving her community and provides pro bono assistance to survivors of domestic violence through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
Anelise clerked for the Hon. Shalonda Jones-Parker, and Hon. Verda Colvin who now sits on the Supreme Court of Georgia.
