Andrew focuses his practice on admiralty and maritime matters including the defense of crew and passenger claims, limitation of liability actions, cargo claims and salvage claims. He is board-certified in Admiralty and Maritime Law by the Florida Bar and his experience includes jury trials at both the federal and state court levels, binding arbitrations and appeals. He has argued before both the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal.
Andrew works with cruise lines, domestic insurers and UK based marine insurers and frequently defends claims brought by crew members, maritime workers, or personal representatives pursuant to the Jones Act, General Maritime Law and Death on the High Seas Act.He also routinely handles salvage claims including through trial.
Andrew has been published and has presented on various topics including crew claims in the United States, cruise line personal injury law, legal ramifications of environmental damages and maritime contracts.
