Allison C. Drompp focuses her practice on insurance defense with an emphasis on first-party property claims.
Allison C. Drompp focuses her practice on insurance coverage analysis and litigation with an emphasis on first- and third-party property damage claims, from coverage analysis to litigation. She litigates insurance disputes involving high exposure commercial claims and defends homeowners and condominium associations in third-party property damage claims. She defends insurance carriers and self-insured entities in complex bodily injury and premises liability claims. Allison has experience in complex federal workers’ compensation defense including claims under the Defense Base Act and Longshore Act. She litigates and advises on a wide range of insurance defense matters such as maritime insurance claims, recovery and subrogation claims, and trucking and automobile accidents.
Allison creates tailored risk management strategies for cost-effective claim resolution in order to obtain the most favorable outcome for her client. She has extensive experience in liability and coverage assessment, and works with her clients to create a long-term, comprehensive approach to legal defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Allison was staff counsel with a national insurance carrier in the Miami area, defending policyholders in auto negligence actions for bodily injuries and property damage, and corporate insurance entities in breach of contract actions, and was instrumental in spearheading early settlement initiatives for cost-effective resolution of claims.
