Ashley Fillingim is a litigation attorney with over two decades of experience representing clients in federal courts nationwide, as well as in Georgia state courts. Before joining Chartwell Law, Ashley served as outside general counsel to startup businesses and advised solopreneurs and small business owners. She practiced at a large national firm for 20 years, serving as a litigation partner for a decade, where she represented various Fortune 500 and other large companies in high-stakes litigation, including class and mass actions. She has years of training in jury research and strategy and has presented oral argument before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Ashley clerked for the Hon. Julie E. Carnes in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, who is now a Senior U.S. Circuit Court Judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
