Andrew B. Klaber, the managing partner at Chartwell Law’s Pittsburgh office, assists employers facing claims from employees. A large portion of his practice revolves around administrative statutes such as Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act, Black Lung Act, and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Andrew also represents numerous mid-sized corporations in the role of general counsel, providing guidance on employment issues, acquisition strategies, financing alternatives and risk management. Most recently, he has focused on assisting clients with their expansion plans. Through his hands-on experience launching new business ventures, Andrew has acquired significant practical experience in dealing with the issues facing organizations at the beginning of growth phases.
Andrew began his career in the Philadelphia office of a Mid-Atlantic regional law firm, where he concentrated his practice in the representation of employers on a wide range of litigation matters. In 1991, he became a founding member of the Philadelphia firm, Weber Goldstein Greenberg & Gallagher, LLP. He then returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh to establish an office for the firm.
In addition to his years in private practice, Andrew spent three years I the tech sector serving as vice president and general counsel for a CRM technology firm.
Andrew frequently serves as a lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and national organizations dedicated to the study of business representation.
