Andrew "Drew" Wharton brings a strong background in insurance defense and personal injury litigation to Chartwell Law, with experience spanning various legal disciplines. Drew earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law in 2021, graduating with honors. During his time at Mercer, Drew demonstrated his commitment to academic excellence, consistently earning a place on the Dean’s List. He was also actively involved in the law community, serving as the Administrative Editor for the Law Review, President of the International Law Student Association, and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society.
While in law school, Drew began his legal career as a Law Clerk, where he gained experience in corporate bankruptcy, real estate, and personal injury. Following his graduation, Drew joined a prominent Columbus, Georgia firm, where he specialized in corporate structure, real estate, and landlord-tenant relationships. He then moved on to GEICO, where he served as a Staff Attorney, representing clients in personal injury litigation related to automobile accidents.
Drew is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Alabama and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. His legal expertise, combined with his dedication to providing exceptional client service, makes him a valuable asset to Chartwell Law.
In his personal time, Drew enjoys playing pickleball, a hobby that reflects his competitive spirit and passion for teamwork.
