Caitlin M. Sullivan focuses her practice on workers’ compensation defense for insurance carriers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators.
Caitlin represents employers in cases involving acute and repetitive trauma, return to work, and labor market surveys. She has frequently represented hospitals and medical facilities, as well as construction companies. Caitlin assists clients in the development of claim reduction strategies and is committed to limiting her client’s exposure throughout the claims’ process
Prior to joining Chartwell Law, Caitlin worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Wallace H. Bateman of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She also worked as a law clerk for a regional New Jersey law firm where she worked with the trial and insurance defense practice groups.
Caitlin continues to work in charitable activities throughout the Philadelphia community. She is an active volunteer at the Sisters of Saint Joseph Welcome Center in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, where she served as an ESL instructor and helped immigrants obtain their American citizenship. As a former board member at the Welcome Center, Caitlin continues to support the mission of educating and serving Philadelphia’s immigrant community.
Caitlin is a member of the Villanova Law J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court, as well as the Philadelphia Bar Association. She currently serves as a member of the subcommittee for the CLE program of the Philadelphia Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
While in law school at Villanova University, Caitlin served as a certified legal intern in the Farmworker’s Legal Aid Clinic, where she provided pro bono legal services in the area of workers’ compensation and employment law.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys going to the shore in Avalon, New Jersey and spending time with her husband and two children.
