David Roberson is an accomplished attorney based in Chartwell Law's Atlanta office, bringing a diverse legal background and extensive experience in civil litigation, criminal prosecution, and government advisory roles. David earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2015, where he was actively involved in several legal organizations, including serving as President of the Black Law Student Association. He was also an Associate and COP Coordinator for the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.
Before joining Chartwell Law, David was the Assistant District Attorney at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where he managed a substantial caseload of felony-level cases and handled all aspects of trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. He also served as an Attorney Advisor with the Department of Health and Human Services, where he provided legal guidance on complex Medicare and Federal Administrative law issues.
In addition to his litigation experience, David has worked with various city and federal agencies, gaining valuable insight into public sector legal challenges. His well-rounded expertise includes managing cases from inception to completion, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and drafting key legal documents. David’s approach to law is thorough and strategic, ensuring that each case is handled with the utmost diligence and care.
Outside the courtroom, David is a dedicated father and an avid cinephile who enjoys baking, cooking, and exploring the art of screenplay writing. His commitment to his craft, combined with his passion for creativity, makes him a valuable member of the Chartwell Law team.
