Elizabeth "Liz" Driscoll is a dedicated attorney based in Chartwell Law’s New York, White Plains, and Moorestown offices, specializing in general liability litigation. She has extensive experience defending clients such as property owners, maintenance companies, construction contractors, retail stores, and transportation companies in a variety of personal injury cases, including premises liability, toxic torts, and motor vehicle accidents.

A significant part of Liz’s practice involves defending against fraud claims at all levels. She works closely with investigators and experts to build robust defenses in cases involving staged accidents, exaggerated injury claims, fraud rings, and improper or fraudulent medical provider billing and reporting. Her legal expertise also extends to analyzing first-party claims, conducting depositions and examinations under oath (EUOs), and pursuing declaratory judgment actions. Liz has a proven track record in reducing Medicaid and Medicare liens and successfully managing tender demands. In recognition of her professional excellence, Liz was named to the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2021, an honor awarded to early-career attorneys excelling in private practice.

Liz earned her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2017, where she served as an Associate Editor for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and as a research assistant for two professors. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Global Studies from Hofstra University, which she earned in 2015.

Outside of her legal practice, Liz is deeply committed to her community. She has been an active volunteer firefighter in her hometown in Northern New Jersey since 2018 and played a key role in organizing the Girls’ Troop within her town’s Boy Scouts organization.
