Heather L. Hatch is a trial attorney and focuses her practice on civil litigation. A significant part of her practice involves the representation of employers, self-insured employers, and their insurance carriers in all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and employment related matters in Florida.
Heather’s practice areas also include Medicare Compliance, 111 reporting issues, and MMSEA compliance in both workers’ compensation and liability claims. In addition to litigation, Heather offers workplace education, which aims at enhancing risk prevention, reporting incidents effectively and decreasing potential litigation that stems from workplace or disability issues. Heather is also a frequent lecturer throughout Florida and other jurisdictions on workers’ compensation, Medicare Compliance and employment related issues. Heather is certified as an educator with the State of Florida.
Heather is licensed to practice law in Florida and Tennessee. She is a member of The Florida Bar and Tennessee Bar and is also admitted in the United States District Courts of the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Her professional affiliations include the Workers’ Compensation Section and Labor and Employment Sections of The Florida Bar, the Workers’ Compensation and Labor and Employment Sections of the American Bar Association, the Professionalism Committee and the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Palm Beach Chapter of RIMS. Heather is also active in several community organizations and local scholarship funds.
