Jack Abdalla is an attorney in Chartwell’s Philadelphia office, where he focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense. He brings a strong analytical approach and a passion for research and writing to his work, ensuring thoughtful and effective representation for clients.
Jack earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where he served as an editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and as an assistant editor for the Journal of Law and Philosophy. During his time at Rutgers, Jack consistently excelled academically, earning Dean’s List honors and contributing to legal scholarship through his editorial work. He earned his B.A. in History and Government, magna cum laude, from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was a Dana Scholar, Marshall Fellow, and member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.
Before joining Chartwell, Jack gained valuable experience as a law clerk with several firms, where he honed his skills in drafting legal documents, conducting research, and preparing for mediations and depositions. His clerkships provided him with a solid foundation in workers’ compensation and general liability matters.
Outside the office, Jack enjoys chess, Philadelphia sports, and spending time with his fiancé and their dog, Stringbean. His interests in history and labor issues further reflect his thoughtful and well-rounded perspective, which he brings to both his professional and personal endeavors.
