Jerome A. Flanagan

Jerome A. Flanagan concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation and general liability and casualty defense. Jerry represents employers in the transportation, manufacturing, and retail industries, as well as insurance carriers and third-party administrators in Northern Pennsylvania. He has experience handling a variety of matters including labor and employment, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and product liability as well as potential bad faith exposure. Jerry has favorably resolved claims involving fraud, negligence, ERISA, and employee benefits.

In addition, Jerry has been involved with summer camp litigation defense including successfully representing the Boy Scouts of America and various vacation resort properties throughout Pennsylvania in general liability matters.

Jerry works closely with his clients to determine appropriate and effective strategies for each case. Whenever possible, he works with employers to ensure compliance with state and federal laws to avoid litigation. However, when litigation does arise, he has obtained favorable results at the trial and appellate court levels.

Prior to joining Chartwell Law, Jerry practiced civil litigation in state and federal court actions throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
