Jim focuses his practice on defending clients in civil litigation and insurance matters in state and federal courts throughout Illinois. His background includes handling complex commercial, tort, and casualty matters with varying levels of exposure.

During law school, Jim worked as a legal intern at the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office. He also spent time at the Janssen Law Center, drafting complaints covering various issues, including negligence, wrongful death, premises liability, vicarious liability, direct liability, and other statutory violations.

While at the University of Illinois, Jim worked as a resident advisor for three years at the St. John's Catholic Newman Center dormitory and was a member of the Illinois Business Council for two years.
