Jessica A. Teitelbaum concentrates her practice on civil litigation, defending construction-related claims on behalf of developers, general contractors, subcontractor trades, design professionals, and product manufacturers.
Ms. Teitelbaum's practice includes defense of construction defect, property damage, and contract-based claims in Florida federal and state courts. She has also defended, to complete victory via summary judgment, a variety of federal flood insurance claims in Florida. Ms. Teitelbaum is a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil mediator.
Ms. Teitelbaum earned her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Florida, where she graduated 8th in her undergraduate class (top 1%), with high honors, and in law school achieved membership in Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, which requires academic honors for admission in Florida. She was awarded the University of Florida Presidential Recognition for outstanding achievement and contributions to the University. She achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the accredited business school equivalent to the liberal arts and sciences honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She earned membership in the Golden Key National Honor Society, and was elected to and served on the University of Florida Student Honor Court as an Associate Justice and served as Proctoring Committee Chair.
