Jaclyn Vottero focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, heart and lung litigation and subrogation, and civil service litigation. She has experience in cases involving state and local municipalities, hospitals, nursing homes, large manufacturers, along with companies of varying sizes. Jaclyn is committed to the defense of insured and self-insured entities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers' compensation matters.
Jaclyn prides herself on her ability to reach quick resolutions early and/or before the onset of litigation, to avoid unnecessary litigation costs for clients. She has also been able to recover significant monies for her clients from the Supersedeas Fund. Jaclyn is experienced in conducting thorough investigations, such as criminal and social media searches, as well as providing thorough and thoughtful litigation strategies to reduce exposure for clients.
While in law school she was a member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. She also served as a Certified Legal Intern in the Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinic where she provided pro bono legal services in the area of family law to residents of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. In addition, while in law school, she interned at a large Philadelphia law firm wherein she practiced property and white-collar law.
Jaclyn presented at Murray Securus’s conference, “A Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law Update: Understanding Recent Change and the Impact on Your Business,” in 2017. Outside of work, Jaclyn has been a member of the Penn State Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group from 2007 through the present.
