Known for her thoughtful approach and sharp advocacy, Keisha has successfully represented clients in both state and federal courts, handling everything from dispositive motions and depositions to high-stakes appeals.
Her experience includes defending healthcare professionals and institutions against malpractice claims, advocating for public entities in constitutional and employment-related disputes, and representing Fortune 500 companies in commercial litigation. Among her significant outcomes, Keisha successfully defended a surgery center in a healthcare liability claim, resulting in all claims being dismissed with prejudice. She has held leadership roles in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the American Bar Association and frequently speaks on litigation strategy and ethics. Keisha also volunteers as a member of the LegalLine committee of the Dallas Bar Association, providing legal advice to local residents who submit legal questions.
Keisha’s legal scholarship includes co-authoring publications on damages in civil litigation and advocacy for women attorneys of color. She earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she was an active leader in moot court competitions and professional organizations.
