Lloyd Solt brings a versatile and dynamic legal background to Chartwell Law. Specializing in estate planning and workers' compensation, he has an extensive track record in crafting wills and trusts, business succession planning, and managing even the most complex workers' compensation claims. His expertise ranges from simple wills to managing estates worth up to $20 million. Lloyd is also a skilled mediator, adept at resolving disputes efficiently and amicably.
Lloyd earned his LLM from the University of Florida, the nation's #2 tax program. His legal journey began with an internship at the IRS, followed by a tenure at a private tax firm in Jacksonville. Although his career path led him to specialize in workers' compensation, Lloyd's passion for estate planning is palpable. Recognizing the significant demand for estate planning, and enjoying its inherent creativity, he is excited to fully reintegrate estate planning into his practice.
Lloyd also routinely negotiates multi-million dollar workers' compensation settlements. His dual expertise in workers' compensation and estate planning positions him uniquely to serve a diverse client base, understanding that each client has unique needs and deserves personalized attention.
Lloyd is an active member of the Florida Bar Association's Workers' Compensation and Real Property, Probate & Trust Law sections, staying current on the latest developments in both fields. He strongly believes in the importance of continuing education and professional development.
Outside of his professional life, Lloyd has a unique array of personal interests and accomplishments. He showed horses professionally during his youth and has skied on three continents, including on an active volcano. He is also a dedicated father to five children and a proud soccer dad.
