Latrice Vann is a highly-accomplished attorney admitted to practice in Georgia since 2017. She earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, where she honed her skills as a judicial clerk for the Clayton County Probate Court and as an intern in the Juvenile Division of the Dekalb County Public Defender’s Office. Latrice also contributed to a successful appeal to the Supreme Court of Georgia in McBee et al. v. Aspire at West Midtown Apartments, L.P., 302 Ga. 662 (2017), as a law clerk.
Before her legal career, Latrice earned an M.S. from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a B.A. from the University of Memphis. She taught high school English for five years, serving as Department Chair and leading district-wide initiatives like ThinkShow!, a project-based learning program. Her experience as an educator also included evaluating teachers and conducting professional development sessions focused on active learning strategies.
As an attorney, Latrice has extensive experience in workers’ compensation matters, including trials, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations. She has conducted legal research, drafted motions, pleadings, and briefs, and led professional development sessions for adjusters to help them better navigate workers’ compensation forms and procedures. Latrice is a member of the Gate City Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA).
Outside the office, Latrice enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also an attorney, their three children, and their Bichon Frise. Her dedication to professional excellence and client-focused advocacy makes her a valuable asset to the Chartwell team.
