Megan K. Baker is of counsel in Chartwell Law’s Boston office and a trial attorney with experience in both state and federal courts. Her practice covers a range of litigation areas, including commercial litigation, premises and professional liability, trucking and transportation matters, and bad faith litigation. Additionally, she has experience representing technology companies on frontier law issues, including bespoke policies, the ethical use of generative AI, and brand protection. Megan's original legal passion is intellectual property.
Before joining Chartwell, Megan began her practice in South Florida, then moved to the Wellesley office of a regional New England law firm. Prior to law school, she worked in government relations and court administration for the Chief Justice of the District Court Department of the Massachusetts Trial Court and the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Trial Court.
Megan lives in the Boston area with her family and dog. Originally from Minnesota, she takes great pride in her home state—and she can ice skate backward at full speed.
