Michael Gleason serves as Of Counsel at Chartwell Law, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in general liability and insurance defense. A graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2005, Michael also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.
Before joining Chartwell, Michael practiced at another prominent New York law firm for more than 16 years. During that time, he represented clients in complex liability, insurance defense, and New York Labor Law matters, developing a reputation as a highly skilled litigator. His extensive experience, strategic approach, and commitment to excellence make him a valued member of the Chartwell team.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Michael continues to call New York City home, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Outside of his career, he is a passionate traveler who has visited destinations across the globe, including India, Egypt, Thailand, Turkey, Peru, Israel, Iceland, Italy, Spain, South Africa, and beyond. His adventures have shaped his worldview and bring a unique perspective to his professional approach.
