Melissa Haluska is an attorney at Chartwell Law, where she focuses on defending clients in complex liability claims, insurance coverage disputes, and general civil litigation. With extensive experience handling cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and wrongful death claims, Melissa takes a strong, client-centered approach and is committed to achieving favorable results in every case.
Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2017. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Florida Atlantic University, where she achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA and was named to the President’s Honor List. Earlier in her academic career, she earned an Associate of Arts in Nursing from Indian River State College and is also a licensed esthetician.
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2017, Melissa is an active member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section. Her professional background encompasses a broad range of litigation areas, including construction disputes, contract disputes, estate planning, premises liability, and auto accidents. She has represented clients at every stage of litigation, from initial case assessments and depositions to mediations, motion hearings, and jury trials.
A lifelong advocate for animal welfare, Melissa is passionate about rescuing and supporting animals in need and volunteers with local animal rescue organizations in her community. Outside of her legal work, she enjoys spending time with her dachshund, Remington, and has a strong personal history in competitive All-Star cheerleading and dance. Known for her exceptional punctuality and commitment to her work, Melissa brings dedication and enthusiasm to every aspect of her practice.
