Michael J. Kranzler is an insurance defense attorney representing large insurance carriers throughout Florida in homeowners’ and commercial insurance claims. His practice has a special focus on the investigation and defense of fraudulent insurance claims, as well as dealing with unprofessional and unethical attorneys and expert witnesses.
In the last eight years, he has saved his clients over $16 million off the amounts sought in litigation by insureds and their counsels. He has also recovered fees, costs, and sanctions on behalf of his clients in the six figures.
He has significant experience educating carriers and their adjusters on emerging legal issues, and has also given multiple ethics trainings to the judiciary and other members of the South Florida legal community.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was the lead attorney heading up the first-party property defense practice group for a law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Outside of his practice, Michael is a competitive obstacle course racer and two-time representative of Team USA at the Obstacle Court Racing World Championships. He is also a retired competitive eater, having defeated multiple large food challenges throughout Florida.
