Mark Spivak has years of experience handling workers’ compensation claims defense for both insured and self-insureds. Mr. Spivak focuses his practice in Southern New Jersey including Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Before joining Chartwell Law, Mr. Spivak began his career as an associate at a prominent law firm in New Jersey, where he practiced workers’ compensation claims defense. He ultimately became a shareholder and Practice Group Manager for the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Department. After 16 years there, Mr. Spivak opened the Law Offices of Mark B. Spivak, where he provided defense of workers' compensation claims for insurance carriers and self-insureds, as well as, representation for appellate claims stemming from workers’ compensation actions.
While in Law School, Mr. Spivak finished as a "Top 10 Oralist” after participating in the Hunter Moot Court Competition. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar Association, in addition to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
