Robert E. “Bert” Noble III focuses his practice on defending individuals and corporations in a variety of civil matters, including premises liability, negligent security, commercial litigation, motor vehicle and trucking negligence, and construction cases. He has successfully defended his clients in state and federal courts throughout Georgia, including jury trials and appeals.

Bert works with his client to develop strategies aimed at mitigating risk and attaining successful resolution. His clients are both small and large businesses and are from a variety of industries, including insurance carriers, contractors, retailers, restaurants and hospitality, healthcare and public utilities organizations. Some of his representative matters include:

  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a corporation to defeat piercing the corporate veil allegations where two companies shared mutual ownership and shared some operating costs. (Lowery et al. v. Noodle Life, Inc. – Ga. App. --, Case No. A21A1463 (2022)).
  • Successfully obtained a reversal on appeal of a group of citizens declaratory judgment challenge to and unlawful annexation of a neighborhood into the City of Atlanta. (Johnson et al v. City of Atlanta, 348 Ga. App. 216 (2018)).
  • Successfully compelled arbitration of wrongful death claims arising out of care in an elder care facility, which was affirmed by the Georgia Supreme Court on appeal. (Provident Group-Creekside Properties, LLC et al. v. West, Executor of the Estate of Ronald Lee West et al., S21C1253 (2022)).
  • Won a defense verdict at a jury trial in a disputed liability motor vehicle collision case in Fulton County, Georgia

When he is not in the office, Bert enjoys spending time with his wife and son and their two dogs. He also enjoys golf, camping and college football.
