Steve Pardalis brings a depth of experience in civil litigation, with a practice that encompasses general liability, premises liability, transportation and commercial trucking claims, construction defect matters, and insurance-related subrogation. Known for his pragmatic approach and strong courtroom presence, Steve represents clients in matters involving both insured and self-insured entities, particularly in complex multi-party cases and coverage disputes. His work also includes handling uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters, as well as product liability and hospitality industry cases.
Before joining Chartwell, Steve worked at a New Jersey-based insurance defense firm, where he focused on civil litigation and insurance coverage issues. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul A. Kapalko in Monmouth County Superior Court, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making and trial procedure.
Steve earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2012, where he was honored with the Adeline Lillian Memorial Award for Making the Law School Experience More Life Affirming. He received his undergraduate degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey, graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science.
Outside the office, Steve is a devoted Little League coach, an active Cub Scouts volunteer, and an avid drummer. He’s also a lifelong fan of The Lord of the Rings - though he insists that trivia mastery of Middle Earth is strictly extracurricular.
