Sameka A. Thompson focuses her practice on insurance coverage and litigation, advising insurance companies and representing them in first-party, third-party, and construction defect coverage matters. She handles bad faith, general liability, and a wide range of coverage disputes, managing all aspects of litigation from pleadings and discovery to mediation and settlement negotiation.

Before joining Chartwell Law, Sameka handled insurance coverage claims and defended clients in employment discrimination, community associations, and commercial litigation. She also has an educational background, having served as a teacher for Broward County Schools for 11 years.

While in law school, Sameka interned with the Office of the City Attorney in Miami, gaining public sector experience in land use and zoning, contracts and transactional matters, constitutional law, employment and labor union disputes, and personal injury legislation.
