For over 10 years Tiffany S. Fendley has practiced in the areas of general liability, insurance defense, employment law and labor relations, as well as transportation matters throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Tiffany effectively defends businesses and individuals in various general liability matters with an emphasis on toxic tort, premises liability, construction defect and accidents, DRAM Shop litigation, motor vehicle negligence, and product liability. Tiffany also counsels large insurance carriers in a variety of insurance defense claims through all aspects of litigation.
A large part of Tiffany’s practice involves defending various transportation entities such as freight carriers, truck insurers, school operators and long and short haul truckers in both intrastate and interstate transportation cases such as negligence, DOT compliance issues, and negligent hiring and retention issues. She is skilled at pre-litigation investigation working with industry experts in accident reconstruction and data preservation.
Tiffany also represents construction companies and construction related businesses in New York labor law matters. She is well versed in Labor Law Section 240, also known as the “Scaffolding Law” dealing with ground-level construction site safety, and Section 241, the “Safe Place to Work Law” focusing on regulations guiding the arrangement and operation of construction sites.
With her clients' time and objectives at the forefront of her defense approach, Tiffany evaluates and analyzes cases with an eye towards a swift resolution. She believes in keeping her clients up to date during the litigation process, being mindful of their desired outcomes, and confidently offering her defense strategy aimed at resolving the matter in her client’s best interest, whether that be through aggressive settlement negotiations or taking the matter to trial and through to appeal if necessary.
Prior to joining the firm, Tiffany handled general liability and labor and employment law matters for a large firm in New York, New York. Prior to attending law school, Tiffany worked as a production assistant for ABC News in New York City.
