Todd J. Sanders is an accomplished workers’ compensation defense attorney practicing throughout the state of Florida. Todd has handled hundreds of workers’ compensation matters throughout all stages of litigation, including representing appellate matters before the Florida First District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. His judicious approach to defending his clients, which include insurance carriers, third-party administrators and large self-insured businesses, is evident as he strives to produce a defense strategy that leads to a successful resolution and mitigates future risk.
Prior to joining the firm, Todd served for fourteen years as a senior staff attorney for the Florida First District Court of Appeal, which has exclusive statewide jurisdiction over workers’ compensation appeals for the State of Florida. For the last seven years Todd was with the Court, he served as Director of the Court’s Workers’ Compensation Unit where he was responsible for a staff of attorneys who analyzed, researched, and summarized all workers’ compensation cases filed in the Court before they were assigned to a panel of judges for adjudication. Todd was also twice nominated for the position of judge of compensation claims.
