Dear Clients and Friends:
In the coming weeks and months, we expect the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to impact businesses, including Chartwell Law. I am writing to tell you about Chartwell Law’s plans in response to this unprecedented public health crisis.
As always, our priority is the health and safety of our employees, our families, our clients, and our communities. We’re closely monitoring the evolving situation and advising our people about the latest advice from health care experts with respect to smart hygiene actions, and travel and meeting guidance.
And as we focus on our collective safety, during this uncertain time we are committed to maintaining our quality of client service. As the global COVID-19 outbreak causes major disruption and stress across global markets, economies and businesses, we will work hard to maintain the level of service that you expect and deserve.
Chartwell Law has enacted our comprehensive COVID-19 response plan. This plan was designed and tested by our IT, HR, practice management, and legal management experts. The team will continue to meet daily, by phone, to direct our firm’s ongoing responses to further disruptions and to minimize impact on our clients, employees and communities.
We will utilize our strong remote work infrastructure to maintain business operations. This infrastructure includes technical solutions for all attorneys and staff to continue to communicate and collaborate with one another and with our clients, even if we are temporarily separated from our physical offices. Updates from courthouses and other sources are pouring in, and our goal is to stay on top of these changes and take whatever creative steps we can to continue to protect the interests of our clients.
As we all navigate these uncharted waters, we want you to know that our lawyers and staff are on the job, physically or virtually, and are available and committed to continuing to serve you.
We hope the situation resolves quickly and wish you strength, health and fortitude in the weeks ahead.
