Since beginning this journey in 2023, Chartwell has embraced the year-long, structured Mansfield Certification process to ensure that all team members have a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership positions.
Mansfield Certification is designed to open doors wider by ensuring that at least 30% of candidates considered for leadership roles are from underrepresented groups. This process has allowed us to reinforce and expand our dedication to creating a level playing field for all.
Data shows that firms that remain committed and accountable to the Mansfield Certification process year-over-year are making substantial progress in creating inclusive talent practices and diversifying their leadership ranks. This year, Chartwell was ranked 42nd out of 208 firms on ALM's 2024 Diversity Scorecard and 60th out of 247 on The American Lawyer's 2024 Women in Law Scorecard. These achievements are a testament to the tangible outcomes that stem from our dedication to creating a culture where all members of our firm can thrive and contribute at the highest levels.
