Throughout March, we’re highlighting the voices of our female attorneys, sharing the women who inspire them, the lessons they’ve learned, and the quotes that motivate them. Each week, we’ll feature remarkable women as they reflect on the impact of women in law and beyond.
This week our series spotlights Ingrid Marmol, an Of Counsel attorney in our New York City office.
What is the best lesson a woman taught you?
Lead by example. It is important to model behaviors we want to see in others. We can do this by balancing confidence and humility.
What is your favorite quote by a woman?
I've chosen two quotes from Ruth Bader Ginsburg because I couldn’t pick just one!
“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.”
“Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don’t do it just for yourself.”
