Andrew E. Greenberg has extensive litigation experience in commercial, general casualty, and workers' compensation matters and is a recognized authority in the field of Pennsylvania workers' compensation law.
Andy has been an author and lecturer for the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, The Legal Intelligencer, The Pennsylvania Law Weekly, The Pennsylvania Defense Institute and The Pennsylvania Self-Insurers' Association. He has made regular appearances on the television program "Law Journal" and has been named to Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers List on multiple occasions. He has served as a regional brief judge for the American Bar Association Law Student Division, "National Appellate Advocacy Competition."
In collaboration with the Honorable David B. Torrey, Andy is the co-author of the well-recognized Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation: Law and Practice, a four-volume authoritative treatise on Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Law, published and updated annually by Thomson-Reuter Publishing. The Fourth Edition of the treatise was published in April 2021. He was a commentator on the "Medical Cost Containment" regulations promulgated pursuant to Act 44 of 1993. He worked with the Workers' Compensation Rules Committee that revised the Special Rules of Practice and Procedure before Judges in 1999-2000 and has consulted for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation on various issues over the past few years including application of the HIPAA "Privacy Rule" to the administration of Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims.
