Giovanna Giardina brings over 25 years of legal experience to Chartwell Law, specializing in civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and subrogation matters. A 1997 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, Giovanna has established herself as a skilled litigator and trusted advisor, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to clients and claims partners alike.
Licensed to practice in Connecticut and admitted to the federal courts in 1998, Giovanna has a broad range of experience representing clients in all districts within the state. Her expertise includes defending clients in motor vehicle claims, workers’ compensation litigation, and civil litigation with a focus on subrogation and lien recovery. She is known for her thorough approach to litigation, from developing and implementing litigation strategies to conducting depositions and drafting key legal documents.
Giovanna is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, particularly within the Worker’s Compensation Section, and has served as a past president of the Waterbury Bar Association. Her commitment to her community is also reflected in her involvement with the Cheshire Junior Women.
Fluent in Italian, Giovanna has a deep connection to her heritage and frequently travels to Italy, where she is in the process of restoring her mother’s ancestral home. This personal project is driven by her desire to create a lasting legacy for her children and future generations, ensuring they always have a home in Italy.
When not practicing law or traveling, Giovanna enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new destinations. Her dedication to both her profession and her heritage makes her a valued member of the Chartwell Law team.
