Chartwell Law is pleased to announce the addition of Giovanna Giardina as a new partner in the firm’s Boston office. With over 25 years of legal experience, Giovanna’s knowledge and expertise in civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and subrogation matters make her a valuable asset to the firm and its clients.
A 1997 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, Giovanna has built a distinguished career as a skilled litigator, representing clients across Connecticut in complex legal matters. Her practice focuses on defending clients in workers’ compensation litigation and civil litigation with a particular emphasis on subrogation and lien recovery. Admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1997 and to the federal courts in 1998, Giovanna is well-versed in the legal landscape at both state and federal levels.
"Giovanna’s depth of experience and strategic approach to litigation will be a tremendous asset to our team," said Lisa Cavallaro, Partner at Chartwell Law. "Her commitment to client service and her ability to deliver results reflect and enhance Chartwell’s values. We are thrilled to welcome her to the firm."
In addition to her legal practice, Giovanna is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association and has held leadership roles, including past president of the Waterbury Bar Association. Her commitment to her community is evident through her involvement with the Cheshire Junior Women, where she contributes her time and expertise to local initiatives.
Fluent in Italian, Giovanna has a strong connection to her heritage and is currently engaged in restoring her mother’s ancestral home in Italy, a project close to her heart. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new destinations.
Giovanna’s addition to the Chartwell Law team underscores the firm’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to its clients. Her expertise, leadership, and dedication will further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in serving its clients’ diverse legal needs.
