Isis D. Davidson has extensive experience litigating the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of insurance carriers and large self-insured businesses. Having managed hundreds of cases from inception to close, her cases represent a variety of industries, including healthcare, construction, social media, retail, hospitality, airlines and fashion.
Her effective legal research and continual communication with employers, supervisors and executives allow Isis to present a defense strategy in line with her client’s expectations while limiting future exposure and maintaining cost-effective results. She has conducted robust settlement negotiations and Section 32 agreements, rebuttals and aggressively fights on behalf of her clients should an appeal arise.
Isis plays an active role in Chartwell Law's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and the Women’s Committee - focusing on enhancing diversity through innovative ideas and initiatives. Our members work to advance the firm’s diversity goals by fostering professional development, offering career and client relationship coaching, and identifying strategic opportunities and resources both inside and outside the firm.
Additionally, Isis has significant experience representing clients in a wide variety of personal injury, commercial, criminal, family and immigration matters. While working in land development, Isis represented clients before zoning boards, planning boards and other municipal agencies.
In addition to her legal background, Isis has vast business experience. She received her MBA with a dual concentration in Marketing and Communications/Media Management.
Prior to joining Chartwell Law, Isis was one of two attorneys who initiated the downstate workers’ compensation practice as in-house counsel for a national insurance carrier.
While in law school, Isis studied abroad, attending programs in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Freiberg, Germany and Curaçao.
