Matthew R. Olmsted has experience handling a wide variety of civil litigation matters including premises liability, vehicle negligence, construction defect, security negligence, and catastrophic injury.
In all of his cases, Matt actively works to design and develop innovative strategies to achieve positive outcomes for his clients. He is experienced in the analysis and development of efficient strategies on behalf of his clients, whether involving an early negotiated settlement or litigation through trial.
Matt advises his clients on the implications of claims handling issues and is often consulted on matters which present significant potential exposure to insurers, insureds, and other companies. He is actively defending, and has extensive experience handling, matters throughout Florida in state and federal court.
Matt is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in each of the United States District Courts of Florida. He also is an active member of several organizations including the Defense Research Institute, an international organization of attorneys defending the interests of business and individuals in civil litigation, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association.
