Chartwell Law is pleased to announce that Adam T. Devine, Jason D. Lewis, and Nicholas R. Switach have been selected to the 2019 New York Metro Rising Stars list, in the area of workers’ compensation.
Devine, an associate in the firm’s New York City office, focuses his practice on defending self-insured employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. His experience as a claimant side attorney positions him to be uniquely successful in representing his current client base.
Lewis, an associate in the firm’s New York City and White Plains, New York offices, concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation defense, representing large self-insured employers and construction companies. In addition, he is well versed in general municipal law representing municipalities and numerous public sector unions, on behalf of police, fire and correctional personnel with matters regarding Section 207(a) and 207(c) claims.
Switach, an associate in the firm’s New York City and White Plains, New York offices, handles workers’ compensation litigation on behalf of insurance carriers and employers. In addition he represents public unions in matters relating to improper practices, grievances, Article 75 disciplinary matters, and contract negotiations, as well as New York State and Local disability retirement claims. He also handles general municipal law pertaining to special benefits for police and firefighters.
