With over two decades of experience in complex litigation and insurance defense, Taylor brings a wealth of expertise and a distinguished record of success in high-stakes cases. His appointment reinforces Chartwell Law’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional legal services to its clients.

Taylor’s legal career is marked by his extensive experience in trial law, having led multiple cases to verdict in areas such as bodily injury, property damage, and products liability. His background in complex multistate litigation and business development has made him a pivotal figure in the firms he’s served, and his strategic approach to client acquisition and case management will be invaluable to Chartwell Law’s continued growth.

In addition to his legal practice, Taylor served as a Navy JAG for 22 years, both in active duty and in the reserves, which included a combat deployment to Iraq. His military service has not only honed his leadership skills but also fueled his passion for helping veterans and service members. Taylor volunteers his time each year to assist veterans with legal matters involving the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, reflecting his deep commitment to service both in and out of the courtroom.

Before joining Chartwell Law, Taylor was a partner at another prominent firm where he led complex litigation efforts and was instrumental in shaping the firm’s business strategies. His legal expertise spans personal injury defense, construction litigation, premises liability, and aviation mishaps, among other areas. Taylor is licensed to practice law in Florida, Virginia, and West Virginia, and earned his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law.

Taylor has been recognized with numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including his designation as a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer and the receipt of the Iraq Campaign Medal. Outside of his legal work, he has served as a firefighter, paramedic, and rescue specialist, further exemplifying his dedication to public service.
