Taylor George brings over two decades of experience in complex litigation and insurance defense to Chartwell Law as a newly appointed partner. A distinguished trial attorney, Taylor has an extensive background in handling high-stakes cases, with multiple trials to verdict in areas such as bodily injury, property damage, and products liability.
As a Navy JAG, Taylor served both actively and in the reserves for 22 years, including a combat deployment to Iraq. His leadership and commitment to service are further reflected in his volunteer work, where he dedicates time each year to assist veterans and service members with legal issues involving the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Before joining Chartwell Law, Taylor spent 11 years with another firm as a partner and lead trial and appellate attorney for complex litigation. His dynamic background includes key roles in complex multistate litigation and a proven track record in business development, making him a cornerstone of the firm's expansion and client acquisition efforts.
Taylor's legal expertise is complemented by his financial and management competencies, which include personal injury defense, construction litigation, premises liability, and aviation mishaps, among others. He holds professional bar licensure in Florida, Virginia, and West Virginia and earned his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law.
Taylor’s commitment to excellence is recognized by numerous awards and honors, including his designation as a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Officer and his receipt of the Iraq Campaign Medal.
Outside of the courtroom, Taylor's background as a former firefighter, paramedic, and rescue specialist further highlights his dedication to serving others in every capacity.
