Chartwell Law is excited to announce the addition of Lloyd Solt as a new partner. Lloyd’s extensive experience and dynamic legal background will be instrumental in introducing and establishing a new estate planning practice area at the firm, marking a significant expansion of Chartwell Law’s service offerings.
Lloyd Solt brings over two decades of legal experience, specializing in both estate planning and workers’ compensation. His comprehensive experience in estate planning includes everything from crafting wills and setting up revocable trusts, to managing business succession planning and establishing asset protection trusts. Lloyd has handled estates valued up to $20 million, demonstrating his proficiency in managing both simple and complex estate planning needs. His skills as a mediator further enhance his ability to resolve disputes efficiently and amicably.

Lloyd earned his LLM from the University of Florida, home to the nation’s second-ranked tax program. His legal career began with an internship at the IRS, followed by a position at a private tax firm in Jacksonville. Although he has spent significant time specializing in workers’ compensation, Lloyd’s passion for estate planning runs deep. He enjoys the creativity inherent in this area of law and is eager to fully reintegrate estate planning into his practice.
Throughout his career, Lloyd has also successfully negotiated multi-million-dollar workers’ compensation settlements and has consistently delivered personalized attention to each client. His dual expertise positions him to serve a diverse client base with a unique understanding of their varied needs.
Lloyd is an active member of the Florida Bar Association's Workers’ Compensation and Real Property, Probate & Trust Law sections, staying current on the latest developments in both fields. He is a firm believer in the importance of continuing education and professional development, which aligns with Chartwell Law’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
