Chartwell Law is pleased to announce the addition of Richard M. Tomich as a partner in its Peoria office. Richard brings over 15 years of experience in transportation law, construction liability, product liability, and complex civil and commercial litigation. His extensive trial experience and a proven track record of success in high-exposure cases across state and federal courts make him a valuable addition to the firm's expanding transportation and insurance defense practices.
Richard's diverse background includes handling a wide range of complex litigation, from trucking and railroad cases to toxic torts and commercial disputes. With both a Juris Doctor and an MBA from Creighton University, Richard brings a unique combination of legal knowledge and business insight to his clients. His ability to handle intricate legal matters involving severe injuries, death, and substantial financial risk has earned him a stellar reputation for delivering favorable outcomes for his clients.

His contributions to these associations, along with his role as an editor for defense publications, reflect his dedication to the profession and his commitment to advancing industry knowledge.
In addition to his legal career, Richard is a dedicated volunteer, offering pro bono legal services in federal cases and contributing to charitable organizations like the Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude.
