What is your favorite quote by a woman?
“Don’t mind small trifles” is a quote that I heard as a young child that was said by my grandmother, which I live by. I too have said this many times to my own daughter when we find ourselves getting bogged down by something that really won’t matter in a year from now. As women we carry many roles and worry about all of them. We tend to become passionate and get wrapped up in the moment, and as we get older, we continue to worry just in different ways. The worrying never stops, it just changes. Sometimes if you step back from what seems detrimental at the moment and put some perspective on it, you can discover how to navigate through the current issue and see the light on the other side. So, next time you get bogged down, just think, “Don’t mind small trifles.”
